Siva KUMAR

Siva Kumar was born and raised in Ipoh (Malaysia). Upon completing his Bachelors & Masters degrees at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Siva worked as a Senior Lecturer in a prominent private university in Malaysia. He then moved to New Zealand to pursue a Ph.D. in Software Engineering at Victoria University of Wellington. He is an enterprise Agile transformation specialist with 15+ years of experience enabling organisations to adopt lean, adaptive and customer‑centric ways of working.

Alongside his professional work, Siva is a respected community leader in New Zealand & Australia. He has organised the "Leadership Accelerator Program" (LEAP) for undergraduate Malaysian students in association with the High Commission of Malaysia to New Zealand and Education Malaysia New Zealand for the past four years. He has led several community organisations and therefore he has been honoured with several national awards for humanitarian service, multicultural leadership, and community program. 

Siva moved to Australia to work in a major bank about two years ago, and he continues to support the international Malaysian student community through networking sessions, panel talks and interactive workshops to bridge academic learning with industry practices.
