AMSA Annual Dinner 2026

Shared Skies | Bridging Horizons

DSC08921.jpg

As we reflect on the AMSA Annual Dinner 2026, we celebrate another memorable chapter in our community’s journey - one shaped by connection, collaboration and the relationships that continue to bring our Malaysian, Singaporean and Australian communities closer together.

Held at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, this year’s theme, “Shared Skies | Bridging Horizons,” reflected a simple idea: while our journeys, backgrounds and experiences may be different, we share more than we sometimes realise.

At AMSA, our role has always extended beyond bringing people together for an evening. We strive to create meaningful connections across communities, generations and sectors - from long-standing members and community leaders to professionals, students and those newly finding their place in Australia.

The Annual Dinner brought that vision to life, welcoming guests from across government, diplomatic missions, business, education and the wider community for an evening celebrating the friendships and partnerships that connect Australia, Malaysia and Singapore.

We were honoured to welcome our distinguished guests and representatives:

  • The Hon. Kate Washington MP, representing the Premier of New South Wales, The Hon. Chris Minns MP

  • Councillor Robert Kok, City of Sydney, representing the Lord Mayor of Sydney Clover Moore AO

  • Mr. Khairul Gadafi bin Kamaludin, Deputy High Commissioner / Minister Counsellor, representing the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Australia

  • Ms. Wang Huihui, Counsellor (Administration & Consular), representing the High Commissioner of Singapore to Australia

We were also delighted to welcome Mr Nabil Muzhaffar Amir Hamzah, Vice Consul from Education Malaysia Australia, and Ms Jhaiyasree Walaidam, Director of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), Mr Jonathan Lim, Market Director of Singapore Global Network, and many of our valued community and industry partners.

A special appreciation goes to Audra Morrice: AMSA Patron, MasterChef Singapore Judge and MasterChef Australia Finalist; for once again bringing her creativity to our Annual Dinner and curating a menu inspired by the flavours and stories that connect our region.

None of this would have been possible without the generosity and belief of our sponsors, partners and supporters. Their continued support enables AMSA not only to bring our community together, but also to create opportunities for connection, participation and engagement throughout the year.
