Born in Sarawak, Malaysia, Celestina spent much of her formative years in Singapore. She subsequently moved back to Malaysia to further her studies and career before eventually settling in Australia. Having lived across multiple countries, she has developed a deep appreciation for the role of community in supporting individuals through change and opportunity.

Celestina’s career has taken her through a range of sectors: engineering, commerce, management, education, data analytics and migration law. These fields don't obviously connect, except that each one is fundamentally about how people and organisations find each other. Her lived experience of transitioning across countries and industries has inspired a strong commitment to community development and connection.

As Head of Partnerships at AMSA, Celestina is focused on building and strengthening relationships with corporate members, sponsors, and community partners, with a particular interest in partnerships that create meaningful value for both organisations and the people within them. She is passionate about bridging the space between institutions and communities, and fostering long-term collaboration, inclusion, and shared growth across Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore.

Celestina believes that the most enduring partnerships are built not just on shared goals, but on genuine connection between the people who drives them.
