Celebratory Dinner

This year's AMSA Annual Dinner will illuminate the welcoming of Malaysians and Singaporeans into Australia from 1837.

We've come from Malaysia and Singapore and in one way or another, have helped shape Australia, the land we live in today. We are forever grateful for the opportunities Australia has given us and this AMSA Annual Dinner recognises the migrants, celebrates their history, heritage and culture with families and friends.

It is befitting that we hold this celebration at the Australian National Maritime Museum which has told many migrant stories. The Australian National Maritime Museum collects and exhibits the stories of migrants and honours them on the National Monument to Migration.

A special Peranakan menu has been curated for AMSA by Jackie M, an expert that other Australian experts consult when it comes to Malaysian cooking.
