Celine was born and raised on Penang Island, renowned for its food and multicultural society. She moved to Australia to pursue her tertiary studies, fell in love with the local culture, and decided to make it her home.

She is currently working as a Business Development Representative at an American multinational SaaS firm, where she drives business growth and builds meaningful business relationships. Fun fact — Celine was named after Celine Dion and has always been passionate about singing.

She also serves as the Head of Events at AMSA. Her motivation for joining the committee stems from the strong sense of community it provides, helping her feel connected while living away from home. Along the way, she introduced her partner, Brandon Allen, to this warm and welcoming community, giving him a taste of Malaysia’s vibrant traditions and rich culture. Celine believes Malaysia’s culture is truly unique and should be shared with the world through sociocultural events that showcase its heritage and charm.
