Zoom in to Celebrate 185 years Migration History with AMSA and the Australian National Maritime Museum

The Australian Malaysian Singaporean Association Inc (AMSA) has long been the voice and trusted community network for Malaysians and Singaporeans living in Australia. This year, in collaboration with the Australian National Maritime Museum (the Museum), we celebrate 185 years of migration of Malaysians and Singaporeans to Australia.

Australia's National Monument To Migration

We invite AMSA members and guests to a Zoom call on Wednesday 26 October at 5pm with the Museum who is hosting Australia’s National Monument to Migration to acknowledge, commemorate, celebrate and interpret all the migrant histories into an exposition of identity. The Monument is a huge wall featuring the names of more than 31,000 migrants from 136 countries including 111 from Malaysia and 39 from Singapore. It is a celebration of the diversity of Australia through the years.

During this Zoom call, we will provide you with more information on the National Monument to Migration.

Date: Wednesday 26 October at 5pm via Zoom
